Litechs international pilot is now live with Suez.

SUEZ is a French industrial giant with facilities in 40 countries across Europe, Africa, and Asia, handling tens of millions of tonnes of waste each year.

Litech’s detection technology is installed on a dedicated test line at a SUEZ sorting facility, where it is being validated in a real operating environment. Lithium-ion batteries are the leading cause of fires at waste and recycling facilities worldwide, often slipping through undetected until it's too late. Litech's battery detection technology, now live in this SUEZ pilot, is built to catch that risk before it reaches the sorting line, protecting equipment, staff, and operations.

WHAT THE PROJECT COVERS

Catch the risk before it reaches the crusher.

Lithium batteries and gas canisters can ignite when damaged in general waste handling. This pilot tests the detection layer that helps teams remove them safely, earlier in the process.

MIS TECHNOLOGY

Hidden objects. No cameras. No radiation.

Magnetic Inductive Spectroscopy identifies batteries hazardous objects even when they are inside bags or mixed packaging. The sensor gives operators time to intervene before an object is crushed.

REAL OPERATING ENVIRONMENT
